One Dozen Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies -- Bakers Against Racism
Burnt Cheese Press is proud to join more than 2,400 professional and amateur bakers around the world in the Bakers Against Racism virtual bake sale.
Founder Kathy Strahs is baking one of her all-time favorite treats: good old-fashioned chewy chocolate chip cookies. The recipe comes from The Lemonade Stand Cookbook, our title that inspires and empowers kids to get creative in the kitchen and make a difference.
One hundred percent of the cookie sales will be donated to Black Girls CODE, a San Francisco-based nonprofit organization that aims "to increase the number of women of color in the digital space by empowering girls of color ages 7 to 17 to become innovators in STEM fields, leaders in their communities, and builders of their own futures through exposure to computer science and technology."
Ingredients: flour, chocolate chips, butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, egg, baking soda, vanilla extract, salt
Cookies are sold by the dozen. Free local delivery is available for the 95030 and 95032 zip codes. Shipping via USPS priority mail is available within the United States (fees apply).
